I have a Klarich semi-kit of the Itsy-Bitsy (wing span 68").
Jay Burkart built one years ago for Texaco. Jay and I bought the kits at the same time.
Glen is not interested in it (saw him at the field today)
Attached are the photos of the Klarich kit along with fourty other Klarich kits that I'll be posting on R/C Group Classifieds.
I'll be asking $20.00 for each semi-kit (shipping included)
The list is:
1x Anderson 41" wingspan (Like Scott's)
2x Foote Westerner 61" span /48" span (Like mine)
1x Itsy-Bitsy 68" span (see below)
1 x Challenger 51" span ( looks similar to a Viking --- poly wing though.) (good one)
1x Bomber 65" span
1x Golden Eagle 45" span
1x Guff 44" span (for 1/2A, also known as the Guffie)
1x Blitzkrieg (twin tail) 60" (popular with the Tennessee boys)
Playboy Sr.:
2x 48" span (like Scott's)
5x 56" span ( good for speed 400 event)
3x 60" span
3x 61" span
1x 64" span
Attached are photos of the Itsy-Bitsy kit, all the Klarich kits and a photo of my speed 400 Playboy Sr. at 56" span.
On the Playboy Sr., the 4-foot ruler is on the wing length and the 3-foot ruler is on the fuse length.
Weight without the battery is 10 oz. A two cell 1500ah would get the weight up to the min. weight for the Speed 400 event. (16oz.)
I think I built it just too light?

Joe Elgin’s Itsy-Bitsy. Basically a twin tailed Playboy with a rounded fuselage. Scale it up for Speed 400!
